AN INDIVIDUALISED APPROACH
No two bodies are the same or respond equally to the same treatments. This is why we offer an individualised approach to addressing your health and wellbeing goals with comprehensive multi, modality treatments. We focus on your health and wellbeing goals to provide a treatment that best suits you for positive health outcomes.
All services and modalities are determined after a differential diagnosis as part of the Initial Consult Appointment. Our practitioners will then determine what is the most effective and appropriate treatment protocol for your needs.
We welcome a collaborative approach with your health care needs. We take into consideration any concurrent health care plans from other health care providers such as GP’s, Physiotherapists, Fertility Clinics and Specialists.

Point selection is based on Chinese Medicine Meridian theoery diagnosis that is supportive for the individual.

Moxibustion
Moxibustion involves applying an infrared heat source from the herb mugwort to stimulate circulation, reduce pain, and promote the free flow in meridians. We offer both dried herb and smokeless moxa, as well as TDP lamps in our clinics. We can also instruct on how to use moxibustion at home safely.
-

Gua Sha
Gua Sha may be included in your session wher ethere is pain and restriction. We use smooth-edged tools to massage soft tissue, promoting the release of stagnation. If any discoloration (known as sha) occurs, it’s a natural response and will be discussed with you. We also offer facial gua sha appointments.

Tuina
Tuina (Chinese Remedial Massage or Meridian Massage) uses various soft tissue techniques along meridians and acupressure points to treat the whole body—without the use of needles. Let movement be medicine.
There is no pill or treatment that can replace the benefits of movement.
From a Chinese Medicine perspective, regular and daily movement in moderation is a fundamental practice in preventative health care, as well as acute and chronic condition support for the body.
Incorporating Qi Gong into daily living as well as prescription for ailments can offer a gentle, sustainable and affordable approach to movement medicine. We don’t have to exercise to exhaustion, we can enjoy moving freely, daily, with less pain and tension. We can specificy areas requiring more attention during changes in the season, changes as we mature through life, transition through hormone changes, or accomodate specific goals for sport, recreation and rehabilitation.
At Cultivate Healing, we we addresss barriers to engaging in movement and work with the individual to develop strategies to overcome them, to move forward in confidence.
Our practitioner Sarah Kibble has qualifications in Human Movement(Sport & Exercise Science) to safely assess and instruct individual prescriptions as well as group exercise formats.
