Full payment of services due at time of treatment. We accept cash, eftpos/credit card and bank deposit.
HICAPS on the spot health fund rebates are available at both clinics. Please check with your health fund and practitioner to check your cover eligibility.
No refunds for services or products provided. However, we are always here to discuss any resolutions that may be required.
All fees are displayed on the bookings page and in clinic. Please be aware that each practitioner will set their own prices.
Herbal formula, supplements, take home moxa sticks and any other retail and self care product are a cost separate to the appointment fee.
Cancellations and changes require 24 hours prior notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. Missed appointments will also incur this charge.(see our cancellation policy for more details. Please be aware that each practitioner has their own cancellation policy.
TIME VALUE V HEALTH OUTCOMES
In western settings, we’re accustomed to working in a time for money value mindset, or ‘paying for time’.
At Cultivate Healing, we have a focus on health and wellbeing measureable outcomes that are not necessarily like this familiar ‘time currency’.
Whilst we allocate a specific time frame for your appointment to run an appointment schedule efficiently, there may be a slight change on the day, depending upon your clinical health presentation at the discretion of the practitioner. Prices will be adjusted accordingly with prior discussion and consent to treatment. This is to ensure you receive appropriate and affective treatment and you’re not just ‘paying for time’.
Your individual diagnosis may reflect scenarios where you may need a little more time on the table for moxa, a little less time in one position to avoid post treatment postural tension. This is to reduce the incidence of overtreatment and undertreatment. Everyone responds differently to treatments and requires their own treatment plan.
Some of the manual therapies such as tuina, gua sha and cupping incur a highger fee as they require more time hands on equipment preparation and cleaning time as well as equipment costs. Cosmetic Acupuncture needles are more expensive than standard Acupuncture needles, as well as face care products, which is reflected in the price of services.

These prices are for the service portion of your booking only. Any additional herbal formulas, take home moxibustion, taping, supplements, exercise therapy aids, teas and retail products are an additional cost to your treatment.
